Cleptomano

In Cleptomano, players compete to snatch all the paintings and relics in an art museum, using their fingers to edge past a security system of lasers, a guard and a ticking clock. Each piece snatched is worth a different number of points, so it is up to each player to make off with the biggest haul. But getting in and out is no bed of roses.

Set up the museum’s security system by crossing red wooden sticks (lasers) between the museum walls to create an obstructed corridor. Place the bottom of the box (as the museum gallery) at the end of the corridor. Place the paintings in the gallery and the relics in the corridor. Finally, set up a device with a timer at the entrance to the corridor.

You have 60 seconds. When ready, press the timer and start running. Use your fingers to ‘walk’ through the corridor, avoid touching the lasers and try to reach the gallery. Each painting gives 2 points and each relic gives 1 point. One painting must be stolen before any relics are taken. Do not get too greedy, or the guard will catch you.

The player with the most points wins the round, and the first player to win 2 rounds wins the game.
