Colt Express is a family game set in the Wild West.

The players are train robbers trying to bag the biggest haul by punching, shooting and stealing from each other, all while trying to avoid the sheriff.

The game is played on a 3D train with carriages and a locomotive. Each player is given a playing piece, which is placed in one of the rear carriages together with the other players’ pieces.

Colt Express is a programming game in which the players take turns playing cards that determine which action their piece carries out. This continues until every player has played 4-6 cards. The pile is then flipped over and the cards are revealed one at a time, with each action being carried out in turn.

Colt Express is a chaotic game in which carefully planned moves can be foiled by the other players from turn to turn. Expect a fair amount of randomness, and do not expect to be able to plan a way to victory.
