Dark Tomb is a very travel-friendly dungeon crawler in which a group of mismatched heroes must navigate through the ancient burial chamber. The burial chamber is divided into three rooms, each more dangerous and sinister than the one before.

The characters work together to get through each room, collect items, fight monsters and investigate the spaces. On each turn, a player can choose between different attacks, movement or using an item.

If the team succeeds in investigating a room thoroughly and defeating all the monsters, they may move on to the next room. If they fail, they must try again. The rooms’ spaces, the monsters and the items are laid out at random, so every game is unique.
