Dungeons & Dragons: Essential Kit

This is a set designed to make it easy for a Dungeon Master and 1-5 players to get off to a good start playing Dungeons & Dragons. It is structured so that the rules of D&D are easy to learn. The rulebook is supported by handy reference cards, and you get plenty of tools for tailoring your D&D experience, including guidance on customising the role-playing characters that come with the set.

Essentials Kit contains special rules for 1-on-1 role-playing, i.e. role-playing with one game master and one player, so even if you cannot gather a whole group, you can still get started with role-playing. In the box you will find:

• Rulebook with guidance on creating characters (covering levels 1-6) (64 pages)
• Dragon of Icespire Peak adventure (64 pages)
• Double-sided poster map for use with Dragon Icespire Peak
• Dungeon Master’s Screen (screen with four panels)
• 6 blank character sheets
• 11 dice
• Box with 81 reference cards (the cards describe Magic Items, Sidekicks, rules and various other things)

The set comes with the adventure Dragon of Icespire Peak, which can be played together with The Mines of Phandelver from the D&D Starter Set.
