Ego Gold

Ego Gold is an anniversary edition of Ego, published in 2017 to mark the 10th anniversary of the release of the first red Ego game.

Like all other Ego games, it is about the participants getting to know each other better in a fun and different way. In the Gold version there are three different types of dilemma on each card, and a die is then rolled to find out which type of dilemma you will face. The first type of dilemma is the either-or kind. For example ‘Opera or ballet’, ‘Bubber or Messerschmidt’, ‘defence counsel or prosecutor’. The second type of dilemma requires the players to consider each other. For example, is it the person to your right or to your left who ‘… is quickest to admit a mistake’ or ‘… has the most mood swings in the course of a day’? The last type of dilemma is personal questions, where the player rates themselves on a scale from 1 to 4, for example: ‘How crazy am I about bacon?’, ‘How dependent am I on social media?’ or ‘How much do I like Freetown Christiania?’

Can the other players guess what you will answer?

Ego Gold contains 250 cards with a total of 750 dilemmas.
