Istanbul

The bazaar in Istanbul is buzzing with activity, and merchants and hawkers are all trying to earn a decent sum over the course of the day. The merchants and their assistants run back and forth through the narrow corridors and alleys. The fastest and most efficient merchant can end the working day with the largest sum of money.

Istanbul comes with 16 location tiles, which are laid out in a 4×4 square. The players run between these locations with their assistants to buy and sell goods and upgrade their market cart. The challenge is that your assistants stay behind where you land to take care of all the practical matters, while you hurry on. This means that at some point you have to go back and fetch your assistant in order to use him or her somewhere else.

The goal is to earn enough money to buy the coveted rubies. The player with the most rubies wins the game.

Istanbul is a fun and challenging game in which you need to be quick to spot the most efficient route around the bazaar. As the board is made up of 16 different location tiles, the layout can be varied from game to game, so no two games are the same.
