Unexpected activity has been recorded on Monster Island. The volcano is erupting like never before. Monsters from all over the world are gathering on the island – what is going on? They are not even fighting any more.
A new and greater evil is looming. Something so big that it threatens all the other monsters and forces them to work together against the same enemy…

In King of Monster Island, you play as gigantic monsters that must work together to beat a titan-like boss before it finishes building an interdimensional portal. Each turn, players roll dice to deal damage to the boss and its minions, heal themselves, gather energy and buy new abilities, and move around the island. The boss’s actions are controlled by dice thrown into the volcano. Their results make the boss move, activate minions and attack nearby monsters.

To win, the players must knock out the boss before it can complete the portal, or defeat a single one of their monsters. Otherwise the Earth will be lost.
