In Nine Tiles Panic, each player has nine double-sided tiles. At the start of the round, three score cards are turned over. All players then try to lay out their tiles so that they score as many points as possible. When the first player decides that their tiles are laid out optimally, they turn the sand timer, and the remaining players now have a minute and a half to finish their pattern.

The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.
