In Alien Artifacts you play factions from distant planets that send spaceships out into the universe to seek new knowledge and gain more power.

Each player starts with three cards in hand, which can be used in several different ways to build spaceships, develop new technology or explore new planets to get more resources. New spaceships let you increase your strength or actively attack others. New technologies give you extra actions and the chance of plenty of points, while planets give you extra resources to work with. Each time you build a new card, you choose which side of the card to use: logistics, which gives lasting bonuses and makes you stronger, or operational, which gives points and the option of attacking your opponent.

Keep track of resources, make a plan and make the right choices to win in Alien Artifacts, a game of quick turns and many choices. It is a little like an advanced version of Star Realms and is very good with two and three players.
