Jigsaw puzzle from Paperblanks with Lawrence Alma-Tadema’s painting Spring from 1894, which hangs in the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles.

The painting depicts the Victorian custom of sending children out to gather flowers on the first of May, but Alma-Tadema has moved the scene to ancient Rome and hinted at the age of the custom through architecture, costumes, sculptures and musical instruments based on Roman models. Paperblanks uses sturdy blue cardboard and a decorative, embossed paper like that on their hardbound notebooks; all paper comes from sustainable forestry, and the cardboard is 100% recycled material.
