Almost Innocent

Almost Innocent is a cooperative deduction game with a progressive story, in which your teammates must work together across different scenarios to prove your innocence. Each of you has been accused of different crimes that you did not commit, and you must uncover the truth through a campaign divided into 3 acts. Although the scenarios are linked by the narrative, they can be played individually, and there is no obligation to play them in campaign order.

Each scenario comes as a 6×6 grid containing different types of coloured boxes. Each box colour corresponds to a type of evidence, and at the start of the game each player draws one card for each type of evidence on the grid. This combination of cards is your neighbour’s solution, so each player is responsible for another player’s solution. Turn by turn, each player asks selected questions that will help not only themselves but everyone else playing. The aim is to work out your solution before you run out of questions, as you only have a limited number of questions to ask before the scenario ends.

At the end of the scenario, the players announce what they believe their solution is. If everyone is right, you have won. If not, it seems your group has lost…

Almost Innocent is very modular: each scenario has 3 difficulty levels to suit all types of players, from beginners to experienced veterans of deduction games.

As you move through the scenarios, you unlock different modules. After all, each of you is a character in your own right, so it is only fair that you have powers of your own…
