The chieftain is dead and the rightful successor must be found.

In this game you are a Viking earning glory by gathering resources, recruiting warriors, protecting the village from trolls and setting out to sea to defeat creatures of Norse legend.

Champions of Midgard is a resource game with the special twist that your warriors come in the form of dice, and the battles against the monsters are decided by dice rolls. So every battle in the game is a gamble. The most fearsome monsters wait out at sea and require you to gather enough boats, warriors and food for the journey. Those monsters do, however, give the most glory, and the Viking with the most glory takes the throne.
