Build a galactic empire. In deepest outer space, the alien races of the universe fight for control of the cosmos. Alliances are formed and change from moment to moment, while wars of astronomical scale send spaceships screaming into wormholes.

In Cosmic Encounter each player leads an alien race, and on your turn you are the attacking force in a battle to colonise the other players’ planets. Both the attacking and the defending force can call on their allies for help, so every race is drawn into one big political game of control.

The first player to have colonised five foreign planets wins.
