Dead Air Seasons RPG

Humanity treads warily on a planet utterly changed in the wake of the Days of Decay, a catastrophic pandemic that brought about the fall of civilisation.

On the fringes of a reborn ecosystem, survivors strive to get by in an alien, resurgent wilderness. They find themselves strangers in their ancestral home, contending with threats from grotesque creatures and human hostility, all the while haunted by the fear of a sudden metamorphosis into Blight vessels.

For all its harsh treatment of humanity, the Decay has paradoxically brought about a lush renaissance: cities that once teemed with people now give way to wild forests, rivers run clear and the seas teem with creatures. The earth, in its newfound fertility, bestows abundant harvests on the remnants of society. Yet the survivors struggle with the reality that this reborn Eden seems tailored not to them, but to emerging beings more in tune with the creeping vitality of the Decay.

Dead Air: Seasons goes beyond traditional TTRPG paradigms and creates a rich tapestry of worldbuilding possibilities covering both character communities and their evolving habitats. An innovative crisis system emphasises the cycle of the seasons and reflects the relentless progress of the Blight and the resulting transformation of the world through the players’ collective storytelling.
