In Dejlige Danmark everyone competes on an equal footing in a quiz game where the questions are about fun and quirky facts about Denmark that are definitely not ordinary practical knowledge. Everyone guesses at the same time by placing their pieces on the years they believe are right, for questions such as in which year was the average wage 4 kr. or in which year did broccoli come to Denmark. Points are awarded to those closest to the correct answers.

The game also comes with a version where the aim is simply to place the events from Danish history in relation to each other.

The player with the most points when the game is over wins.
