Dominant Species takes the players 90,000 years back in time. An ice age is approaching and the various species are trying to adapt and survive. Space is getting tighter and tighter, however, and only the strongest species will be able to withstand the pressure.

The players take control of one of 6 animal classes: mammals, insects, birds and so on.

The players now try to spread their species as widely as possible while ruining the chances of the other species. In addition, diseases can break out, volcanoes can erupt and all sorts of other events can make life difficult for the animals on the planet.

Dominant Species is a complex and engaging game in which actions can have many different outcomes and real long-term thinking is needed to bring home a victory.
