In Harmonies you build landscapes by placing coloured tokens and create habitats for your animals. To earn the most points and win the game, you need to integrate the habitats into your landscapes wisely and have as many animals there as possible.

You can optionally use the Nature’s Spirit cards for more extensive gameplay. During setup each player chooses one of two spirit cards and places a spirit die on the card. They follow the same placement rules as animal cards, but tend to have an ongoing effect once they are completed. The spirit card counts towards the limit of 4 cards.
