Small wooden puzzle box from Karakuri Creation Group, no. 3 in the Small Box series. It is the easiest of the first three and is the one to choose for anyone not used to brain teasers.

Karakuri boxes build on the traditional puzzle boxes of Hakone-Odawara in Japan. Each box has a mechanism of its own, devised by Karakuri Creation Group’s own designers: some open with a single move, others take a long sequence of pushes, turns and shakes. Every box is cut and assembled by hand.
