Lord Of The Rings Two Towers Trick Taking Game (English)

The journey continues in the magical world of Middle-earth in The Two Towers: Trick-Taking Game, a narrative, cooperative card game that lets players take on the roles of heroes and villains in Tolkien’s legendary work, The Two Towers. This standalone game follows on from The Fellowship of the Ring: Trick-Taking Game from 2025 with chapters 19-36. The chapters can be played in any order, and it is not necessary to have played the earlier game, but ideally you play them in order.

In each chapter, each player takes a different character role, and each character has a condition that must be met to complete the chapter and move on in the story. As you progress through the chapters, new characters, items and challenges are introduced to the game. The One Ring is the game’s only trump card, but at the start, rings cannot be led until someone has played one on another suit.

In the two-player game, one hand of cards is dealt to a dummy player, with some cards face up and others face down. This dummy player is assigned a character, and one of the players plays cards for it based on which cards are free.

In the solo game, one player plays four hands of face-up cards, where each hand is assigned a character and only a few cards are available at a time. After playing a trick, you deal a new card to each hand.
