Michu Green/Blue/Red

In Michu (‘kitten’), players compete over several rounds to collect kitten cards that add up to exactly 23 points (they may ignore cards if they wish).

Each player starts with 5 cards (and may not change their order). 3 cards lie face up in a row next to the deck.

The player with the most kittens takes the first turn. On it, they play the first or last card in their hand, resolve any effect if necessary, draw a new card, place it exactly in the middle of their other 4 and end their turn. The player to the left then does the same, until everyone has taken a turn. Players may not change the order of the cards in their hand unless a special effect allows it.

The winner of the round is the highest cat card that shares a suit with the treasure card (the farthest card in the market), or with the next card if none does, and so on. The winner takes the treasure card and is the first player in the next round.

As soon as a player can add up to exactly 23 with the cat cards they have won, they win the game.

Special cards add nothing to the total, but they let players carry out special actions and then play another card.
