Ordet Fanger!

Ordet fanger! is a party game where the most obvious answer is always on the tip of the tongue.

Ordet fanger! is a quick and easy game that everyone can join in. Unlike many other quiz games, it is more about being fast than about having a lot of general knowledge.

Ordet fanger! is very straightforward. The players turn over cards until the symbols on two players’ cards match. Those two players must now each give an example of the category shown on the opponent’s card. The categories vary widely: Swedish female singers, dishes, politicians, kitchen utensils and everything else under the sun. Whoever says a correct answer first wins the opponent’s card, and then new cards are drawn.

Sounds easy, doesn’t it?

Just wait. Joker cards create unexpected symbol pairs, and word duels can often get out of hand when you lose a card and reveal a new card underneath. Stay alert – it can be your turn at any moment.

Ordet fanger! won the Guldbrikken award for best party game in 2014, and with good reason. It is a great quiz game that gets everyone laughing.
