Passengers

On the shores of Limbo, veiled and masked figures wait patiently for a sign from you. With a wave of the hand you place them in one of the boats rocking on the mysterious water below.

Most of these figures are honest, good souls trying to reach eternal happiness in the Afterland. Some, however, are cunning demons hoping to be smuggled across by one of your corrupt colleagues.

So who do you trust, and why? Which boat can safely be sent off? Or are you perhaps the one secretly working with the other demon smugglers in the game…

Each round, passengers are placed face down in one of two boats. As they are placed, unique gifts are collected that help their owner work out who can be trusted and which boat will give their team the most points. Finally, all players vote for the boat they want to send to the Afterland.

Passengers is a game about tactical communication, about knowing when to share information – and when to stay silent. When to be honest, and when to bluff to secure victory for your team.
