The best liars know when to lie and, more importantly, when not to. In Pinocchio you have to judge whether the sum of all the cards drawn has gone above 21. Everyone announces their number, but can you tell truth from deception? Lying may not always win, but honesty can be a dangerous game too.

In Pinocchio, players take turns drawing a card and announcing its number (you are allowed to lie). If you think the sum of everyone’s cards is more than 21, you can declare a challenge instead of drawing a card. If you are right, the player before you is cursed. Otherwise, you are cursed. Play continues until one player receives a 4th curse and is turned into a donkey. The player or players with the fewest curses win.
