Rent a Hero is a card game with very fine illustrations, consisting of 77 cards that each represent one of seven different heroes. Every hero has a special power, which can for example draw two extra cards, cancel another power or look at the card being passed round.

All players start with two random heroes on the table in front of them and five cards in hand. The starting player turns over a card from the pile and then has to choose a hero based on the conditions set by the card drawn. That hero is passed round among all the players face down. Each player must decide whether to take the hero or pass it on: you cannot have two heroes with the same number value in front of you at the same time. If that happens, you lose both cards. To win the game, you must have recruited six different heroes out of seven possible.

The game is easy to learn and offers many fun sessions.
