The Resistance (English)

The Resistance is set in a distant, dystopian future in which an evil and cruel empire holds the population in an iron grip. The players take the role of a group of resistance fighters who try to crush the empire over the course of five missions. But the enemy has spies everywhere, and in the resistance group there are two or more players who are not what they seem. During the game they will try to sabotage the missions and so ruin the chance of stopping the empire.

The five missions in The Resistance mostly serve as a catalyst for what the game is really about: revealing who the spies are. For a spy, it is about spreading mistrust and uncertainty among the other players and staying hidden, while also trying to sabotage the individual missions.

The Resistance is one of the best games on the market when it comes to deduction, lies, bluff and deceit. The Resistance is a social game in which the conversation, the accusations and the double-dealing are at the front, and the components and mechanics only act as a facilitator.
