You are a pirate with the single aim of burying your enormous hoard of treasure on secret islands.

Players use a unique action wheel to take one of five actions: Plunder, trade, crew up, attack or search. These actions are taken in connection with moving your pirate ship. Search for treasure or plunder port towns to get plenty of loot, which can be sold on the black market for gold. Hire new hands for your ship, and attack merchant ships and other pirates to build your reputation. Take care to sell at the right time, because your stolen goods go up and down in price.

The game ends when the first pirate has buried three treasures. The player with the highest notoriety wins the game.
